Baby Jianna

Last week my fiancé's brother and wife had their second child together. Jianna is the first girl born into the family and everyone's been extremely excited. It's amazing seeing the miracle of life through a newborn child. I offered to take some infant portraits so the parents could have images they can cherish as baby's quickly grow up. These are some of the images from that session a few days ago. Congratulations Ralphie and Veronica!

Reagan Presidential Library

Last month my fiancé and I visited the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in Yorba Linda to tour the facility as a possible venue for our wedding next year. We had previously seen three other locations and hadn't felt sure on any of them. We were completely blown away by it's beauty, attention to detail and quality of it's staff. Needless to say we booked on the spot. We were so impressed by the museum and it's exhibits, and were excited to find out another Presidential Library was located in Simi Valley. Today my fiancé and I visited the Ronald Reagan Library to tour it's exhibits and appreciate it's grand architecture and history. These Presidential Libraries truly are gems that deserved to be visited by everyone able to. California is lucky to have 2 of 13 of these remarkable museums. Here are a couple shots from our visit.

Shannon Summers

Hey everyone. About a week ago I received an e-mail from a model named Shannon. She expressed interest in working together and we decided we'd do a simple portrait session our next available day. Yesterday she came into town and we shot an hour long session at Cabrillo beach here in San Pedro. The weather was beautiful and we even did some swimsuit shots. Here are a few from the shoot. Keep an eye on my website as I'll be posting the rest there at a later time.

Vivien from MM

Early last month I was contacted by a local model by the name of Vivien Watson. She found me through the website Model Mayhem on which I have a profile to network with models and others in the industry. Like me, she also lives in San Pedro and was interested in collaborating. We set up a quick shoot here locally at Angels gate. Vivien was great to work with and in total the shoot lasted about 45 minutes. I decided to post up a few shots here that don't appear on my website.

This past December I did promo shots for my fiance's brother Danny. He's a singer/song-writer and is part of a group called City Gees. The shoot was also to promote his friends clothing line, "MAS CHINGON".  We shot locally here in San Pedro near the Korean friendship bell at Angels Gate. Here are a few shots from that shoot.

I'M ALIVE!! ..and engaged!

Christmas proposal

Hey everyone! I'm starting over on my blog with a slight re-design. I plan to have weekly updates on what i'm up to and more importantly, what i'm shooting! For now though I just want to say I had a great 2010. The best moment definitely was proposing to my girlfriend of 4 years on Christmas day. She has always supported me and my passion for photography and I couldn't ask for anyone better to spend the rest of my life with. I pretended to be taking photos at a historic lighthouse before getting down on one knee and pulling the ring out of my camera bag! She said yes with tears in her eyes, and a passer-by offered to take a shot of us with my camera.
